Community Based Collaboratives Research Consortium CBCRC: IEN coordinated the national CBCRC with funding from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. The Research Consortium serves as a forum for researchers, agencies, community and environmental groups, tribes, and process facilitators to share research findings concerning collaborative approaches to environmentally management. As part of this project, IEN developed an interactive website and online research database: www.cbcrc.org.
Collaboration: A Guide for Environmental Advocates: Developed a handbook for environmentalists that provides guidelines on when and how to participate effectively in collaborative efforts for environmental management. Partners in the project were The Wilderness Society and the National Audubon Society. Hard copies available from IEN for $8.00

Knowledge Digest: Linking Theory to Practice: Produces a periodic publication on conflict resolution, collaboration, and related research in order to help those who work with conflict improve their practice.
Virginia Solutions: Developed a state wide initiative for community collaboration and consensus, including a project establishing a riparian easement program in Fauquier County.
Maryland Capacity Building in Collaborative Solutions: Provided training in consensus building and collaboration to help Maryland court and government officials work collaboratively with mediators on community problem solving.
