We offer three-day sessions in different locations around Virginia to focus on a variety of environmental issues. We use a proven mix of mini-lectures, experiential role plays and exercises, stakeholder panel discussions and field trips on specific environmental hot topics to build your competencies and:
- Enhance your conflict resolution and collaborative problem-solving skills,
- Sharpen your personal and professional leadership skills and expand your network, and
- Gain understanding of key emerging environmental issues in Virginia.
There are two ways to gain the VNRLI experience: as a full program Fellow, or as a regional session participant.
Become a VNRLI Fellow
The VNRLI program is currently in it’s 14th year with over 360 alumni to date. The application process is now open for the 2014-2015 class of Fellows and we invite you to apply! The deadline is Friday, May 30th, and in the meantime we encourage you to read more about the full six-session program. Learn more.
Join a Regional Session
As an alternative, consider attending a one of our six regional sessions. You can choose which 3-day session you would like to attend, depending on the topic, your availability, or your proximity to the region. This is a great option if you want to check out the program, or if your organization is short on the time or funds necessary for you to attend the full program. Learn more.
